Feedback is not the point.
Outcomes are.
For twenty years, customer experience has been measured by how much feedback you collect. Surveys sent. Responses gathered. A score on a slide. We think that's backwards.
Most feedback dies in a dashboard.
It's captured, charted, and forgotten — a graveyard of good intentions that never changed a single customer's experience. The problem was never that companies don't listen. It's that listening rarely turns into doing, and doing is almost never traced back to what it changed.
The shift
Touchplot exists to move customer experience forward one step at a time — from capture, to insight, to action, to proven impact.
Capture
Table stakes.
Insight
Where it starts to matter.
Action
The point.
Impact
The proof.
What we believe
- 01
Feedback should be accountable to outcomes.
A score nobody acts on is vanity. The measure of a CX program isn't how much it collected — it's what it changed.
- 02
The “why” belongs next to the “what.”
Emotion and metrics on one map, or neither gets trusted. A number without a reason is an argument; a reason without a number is a hunch.
- 03
Every signal needs an owner.
Insight without action is just a nicer graveyard. The loop only closes when someone is on the hook and the fix is tracked.
- 04
If you can't trace it, you can't defend it.
Connect the action to the business metric it moved. Not perfect attribution — but a visible, honest line from what you did to what happened.
- 05
The tools should disappear.
No data team, no pipelines, no second survey subscription. The work is understanding customers — not maintaining the machine that watches them.
What it looks like
A checkout drop-off spikes on Monday. The map shows the emotion behind it and the verbatim that explains it. An alert routes to an owner. Three days later, the line bends back — and that recovery is attached to the action that caused it.
Listen. Understand. Act. Prove. That's the whole job.
We're building Touchplot for teams who are done admiring dashboards and ready to change the number.
